Matt Stone lived a life of hardships and misery. One fateful day, his life seemed to crumble. He was fired and accused of murder all in one afternoon. With the help of a neighbor, he evades capture. In a twist of fate, he stumbles upon an abandoned barn. Inside sits an odd vehicle. Little does he know it's the key to his salvation. The vehicle transports him across the universe to a planet known as Arkerus. There, he meets a girl named Karsay Hellstrom.

Karsay, unbeknownst to Stone, has been promised to an insane warlord. Her older sister Kara sees Matt as the key to saving her sister. Can the troubled young man from Earth bring himself to face this madman to save the life of his new friend? If he chooses this life, then nothing will ever be the same for him. Can they overcome their collective trauma and defeat the demons of their past? Or will they succumb to the wills of those who wish to rule them?
