The signs of the times are all around us, manifesting in the skies above and across the world. Ancient texts describe the arrival of powerful, non-human beings that descended to earth thousands of years ago and influenced early man. Evidence of their existence was carved into stone and spread across every continent. But what were these beings, and what happened to them? Are extra-terrestrials observing and influencing our modern world or is something more nefarious at work?

Finnian is a brand-new Journeyman Mapmaker, and he's ready for his first grand adventure. He has a new backpack, sharp pencils, and sturdy boots. There's just one tiny problem... After a fizzy, sputtering accident in a potion shop, Finn is stuck with a Fumble, a tiny, chaotic, and very clumsy Jinx. Suddenly, Finn’s luck takes a tumble. His boots magically swap to the wrong feet and rope bridges bounce him like a trampoline. Even his most precious maps fold themselves into origami swans! To stop the magical mischief, Finn must find the mysterious Wise Woman of Wobbly Creek.
