Chris Grall is a retired U.S. Army Special Forces team sergeant with 26 years of military service. His background in military operations, firearms, and tactics has led him to serve as a technical advisor to writers and present firearms instruction for authors at conferences including ThrillerFest.

His first book, Trigger Guard: A Writer’s Guide to Firearms, grew from that experience and was written to help authors portray firearms accurately and authentically in fiction.

Chris is the author of Schrödinger’s Glass, a speculative thriller published by Atmosphere Press. The story combines his background in tactical realism with a world in which ordinary objects suddenly acquire extraordinary—and sometimes dangerous—properties.

When he isn’t writing fiction, Chris continues to share his subject matter expertise to fellow writers and serve his canine master, Ricky the Destroyer.
