I dedicated my life's long dream to becoming an author. I knew I had writing skills, but I was afraid I would get rejected by a publishing company. When I started developing these characters in A Lady in the Midmorning Sun two years ago, I realized that I had the opportunity to put it in writing, with pen to paper. This book was about a diverse group of family members who lived near the Grand Canyon National Park/Flagstaff, Arizona, area. The characters had strong family values, love, togetherness, and strengths with a purpose.

Something Good is a collection of stories that address some of the hardships that I have faced and how I began to heal after I allowed myself to feel once again. I wrote this book as an alternative to using substances to fix what felt broken inside of me.
