HEADCASE is a ten-episode comedy about neurotic rising hip hop star Ghost (Chris Redd) and his bumpy mental health journey as he navigates therapy, fame, and chaos. After a very public breakdown, his label forces him into sessions with a dorky, white therapist, Gordon (Will Stephen), who has never heard of Ghost.

His dark tales may breathe alongside the supernatural, but they take place in broad daylight, in our daily lives. Their themes include dead warriors resurrected via Bluetooth, Rumpelstiltskin in the suburbs, an algorithmic fear of ghosts, and the shattered dreams of immortality. The world they describe is the one you inhabit, but you would live in terror were you to recognize it for what it is.

It's Brody's big day. He has the opportunity to pitch his movie idea to legendary movie studio head, Zachary Effing Johannessen. His movie idea is that of a young writer stuck repeating the same day trying to win his movie pitch about a writer stuck in Groundhog Day. Brody's pitch is turned down. He drowns his sorrows at a local pub where he meets and falls in love with Rose. Their chemistry is electric and they bond like soulmates and Rose spends the night with Brody. The next morning, Rose has vanished and Brody slowly realizes he is experiencing the same day again.

A group of explorers and scientists discover a hidden island in the Bermuda Triangle which holds the secrets to the origin of man. They also encounter a mute race of missing links who love to dance, and the first Tyrannosaurus Rex. That's all you need to know really.
