Unfortunately, the outlook for Guilded Glory is bleak, as many important Contenders were lost during the unexpected attack, leaving the future of the Guild uncertain at this point in time. Of course, helping to run a Guild was never Thaden’s responsibility, nor did he really want a leadership position when he joined in the first place.

Unfortunately, his current Evolution Assignment is proving to be a bit more difficult than his last one, as it requires him to complete one of the new Intermediate dungeons with a full Raid Party of at least 100 people without any casualties. Throwing money at the problem might’ve worked in the past, but now there’s a complication that makes such a prospect nearly impossible.

Even though he never intended it to happen, the events that occurred in the city of Forgestone have set Thaden on a course to fix the problems that he inadvertently caused. His inner sense of responsibility has now put him firmly on the path to eliminate or at least minimize the destruction and loss of life that could occur from the fallout of the SPECIAL Quests he’s been assigned, so he is putting all his focus on accomplishing this feat as soon as possible.

After the Assimilation System inadvertently outed Thaden as a Contender, as well as confirming that he was at the top of most of the Rankings, the Lifewarden has to leave the town of Ashcleft as soon as possible. Because with his Level being over 21, he can now be attacked by other Contenders with a lower Level than him; they are eager to bring him down so that they’ll have a chance at the top spot, which will guarantee that their families back home on Earth will be safe.

After the frightening experience involved in closing the northwestern Calamity and rescuing his friend, Larek and his companions discover that not everyone is happy about what they accomplished. Forces behind the scenes have made life difficult for the “conquering heroes”, so much so that they are forced to quickly flee the area while they continue their search for Norde. Unfortunately, once they arrive near the southeastern Calamity where Nedira’s younger brother is supposed to be, they encounter a situation that could lead to the downfall of the region, the Kingdom, and even the world.

Throughout the Kingdom, Defenders constantly fight against incursions of dungeon monsters rampaging over the border the Kingdom shares with the Wildlands. To keep the danger to their citizens low, they periodically sweep through these untamed areas filled with natural beasts and roaming dungeon monsters, destroying as many Dungeon Cores as they can find. Tempara was practically a newborn when Defenders from the Kingdom snatched her away, only to be forced to watch in horror as tragedy fell upon the rest of her pack.

Experience Sandra’s story leading up to the exciting conclusion! Sandra has a big problem, one of which she isn’t quite sure how to handle. After destroying a few too many local dungeon cores, those cores within a certain radius are experiencing enhancements to their development. This means that they are not only dangerous to her core, as the instigator of these enhancements, but to the local population as well.

Fresh off her victory in the Verdant Forest, the Greater Temporal Fox-turned-Dungeon Core discovers that the next stop in her journey to free her family (and save the world) is the Charwell Desert, located south of the Kingdom. This barren region is a far cry from the lush forest she had just left, as there is nothing living amongst the endless sand dunes that sweep across the landscape.

Continuing her journey to save her family, a strange secret awaits Tempara in the Verdant Forest...along with the souls of six family members and two former Defenders. The Greater Temporal Fox-turned-Dungeon Core moves on to another Wildlands region in her efforts to stop a temporal ritual from destroying the world while saving the rest of her captured family in the process. This third region, the Verdant Forest, is a land of tall trees, wild beasts, and dungeons that are unique in the fact that they are tied to the very nature of the environment.

Exposed as a “Fusion prodigy” to the Mages of Copperleaf Academy and the Martials of Fort Pinevalley, Larek struggles with the attention and expectations this label brings. Not only does he need protection against those who may wish him harm, but he also has to contend with the needs of his Professors and the Dean of Copperleaf Academy, who wish to use his abilities to help teach others about his discoveries and to outfit the local Scission Interception Corps with his powerful creations.
