Daisy Miller is a young American girl travelling Europe with her mother and younger brother. Er gewinnt das Vertrauen von Paraday und versucht dessen aufgehenden Stern so gut es geht von den Geiern der Massenmedien und den fanatischen Fans zu beschützen. Dies gelingt ihm nur bedingt.
