Fresh off her victory in the Verdant Forest, the Greater Temporal Fox-turned-Dungeon Core discovers that the next stop in her journey to free her family (and save the world) is the Charwell Desert, located south of the Kingdom. This barren region is a far cry from the lush forest she had just left, as there is nothing living amongst the endless sand dunes that sweep across the landscape.

Stranded on an alien planet with his consciousness implanted inside of a Station Core, Milton Frederick has used all of the resources at his disposal to protect his damaged Core from local hostile beasts, Proctans, and even a massive bear-gorilla hybrid that almost single-handedly destroyed his dungeon.

After Tempara successfully saved three of her Greater Temporal Fox family members from the clutches of a dangerous temporal ritual located in the Frozen Reaches, the Fox-turned-Dungeon Core travels south to an entirely different Wildlands region in hopes of freeing even more of her family. While it was treacherous in the cold, northern region where she called home, the new region is unlike anything she has ever encountered before.

Continuing her journey to save her family, a strange secret awaits Tempara in the Verdant Forest...along with the souls of six family members and two former Defenders. The Greater Temporal Fox-turned-Dungeon Core moves on to another Wildlands region in her efforts to stop a temporal ritual from destroying the world while saving the rest of her captured family in the process. This third region, the Verdant Forest, is a land of tall trees, wild beasts, and dungeons that are unique in the fact that they are tied to the very nature of the environment.

Cadence was born with a previously unknown disability that prevented her from being able to communicate verbally or through the use of sign language, though it didn’t prevent her from using the written word. Regardless of the challenges she faced through her short life, she persevered and started her first year at college, rooming with her best friend Jill.

All that Tacca Gloom Lily ever wanted to be since she was very little was a fairy assistant to a Dungeon Core. Tacca GloomLily wasn’t sure how she had barely survived a sudden invasion by the mysterious and deadly six-armed, blue-skinned figures...but survive she did. After the synergy explosion that destroyed her Core, the dungeon fairy-turned-dungeon core needs to rebuild everything from the ground up. Thankfully, with no nearby Raider presence, she’ll not only be able to reconstruct her original dungeon section, but she’ll also be able to finish the new section she had been working on when she had been so rudely interrupted.

After the events that previously occurred near the northeastern border of the Kingdom, Milton has a lot of work to do. Not only does the Station Core have to hide his dungeon from the rampaging hordes originating from the Quizard Mountains, but he has to find somewhere to put thousands of children who are heading towards his dungeon for safety. If that wasn’t bad enough, Milton also has to find a place for millions of other citizens to live; even though they don’t even know who or what the Station Core is, they are counting on him to keep them safe.

The Station Core known as Milton has barely survived the first concentrated attack by hostile Proctans, leaving his "dungeon" destroyed and most of his defenders dead. Not the most auspicious start. But now, with the addition of Brint and his inventor friend, Whisp, Milton now has the tools available to turn his dungeon into one that should easily defend against all comers - or at least he hopes so. However, when the Cordpower Company contract the best of the best to find out what happened to their agents, Milton’s dungeon is put to the test.

Even after pre-ordering the pod that would allow them to play "Glendaria Awakens", Krista and Devin still had to wait months before they were able to experience the newest in VRMMORPG (virtual reality massively multiplayer online role-playing game) technology. The wait was definitely worth it as they entered into a game world that was virtually indistinguishable from real life - apart from the obvious game elements of course. After starting in a typical starting town, they learned everything they needed to survive in this new world.

Reborn into the brand new and unfamiliar form of a Dungeon Core, Clay struggles through learning more about Heroes and the dungeons they delve through to get stronger. According to the guide that was trying to help him understand his new life, Clay should already know most of what he needed to succeed; all of the finer parts regarding the relationship between Heroes and dungeons should be common knowledge. The problem? Despite wishing that he had been that lucky in his past life, Clay had never been a Hero…but now he might be forced to become one.
