Publisher's Summary

A time of great darkness is approaching, but will Sandra and her dungeon survive?

After being responsible for destroying multiple Dungeon Cores, the consequences of which she has yet to see but knows will be coming, Sandra and her friends must obtain help from the leadership of the nearby lands. The problem will soon become bigger than she can contain, and only by them all working together will everyone survive the dangers represented by the nearby dungeons.

On top of that, Sandra also has to develop a plan to combat the ever-expanding territories of the local dungeons and protect the people still living in her Area of Influence. It is a difficult and complicated problem to solve, but with the aid of some new friends she begins to get a handle on the situation.

Unknown to Sandra and everyone else, however, someone wronged by the craft-loving Dungeon Core has designs of their own that will throw the wastelands into chaos. Those dangers, coupled with some personal issues of Sandra’s own, could usher in a period of darkness that the world hasn’t seen in centuries...

This Dungeon Core story contains LitRPG/GameLit elements such as statistics and leveling and a heavy crafting emphasis. No profanity and no harems.

I would rather have the clear eyes guy read this.

It sounds like Cooksie takes adderall before recording. Somehow the bad pron actress meets valley girl way she speaks is delivered in an emotionless monotone that makes it feel like she is trying so hard to focus on the words that she doesn't have the ability to do much else.

Very good!

It was getting so good near the end. I didn't want it to finish. I guess I have to wait for the next audio book to come out.

If you hate cliffhangers...

you're going to hate this ending. Now I have to wait until Brooks releases book 5 to find out what happens. Aaahhhh!!! This book is so good, and a great continuation of the story. Our favorite supporting cast gets expanded and into more precarious situations. The dungeon fairy is worried more than once if Sandra the dungeon is going to "lose it". Thank you Brooks and Cooksey for another amazing installment in this awesome series.

Okay, but you can do better JB

*SPOILERS* Well done slow, understandable fall into insanity which is rare, imo. Didn't just snap for no reason. How did the other dungeons have any mana? Sandra starved them. They should have just sat there making a couple mobs every so often even with their buffs if Sandra's stats are comparable. I really want her to roll in just take those dopes hostage. No upgrading with mobs in the dungeon! Warload's capabilities were so ridiculous. I won't hate though. JB loves the horde! Would have liked to see Sandra finally making a profit in her dealings like ANY MERCHANT. Excluding that her infantile view of the world is understandable and unique. Some monster match ups and some really unique ones always love those. Would love to see her hybridize into primordial. CHAOS TITAN!!! Love that we're moving into thousands of mobs. Would like the battle description to get more macro maybe.. This gives another great JB dungeon crawl! Sandra is losing hard in politics when she should be killing it if she remembers how dear old dad rolled. Definitely enjoyed the enchanting and trapping. (Time trap was delicious). The other characters are just okay. They're unique and I get where they're coming from but they no heroes or villains yet. Sandra has the corner on th hero market. Don't you dare get rid of the fairy. I want to see some jealousy from the other fairies for such a long running dungeon. Honestly, I hope the combined might of the races come for her and she schools them!!!

I love this series

Crafting l, dungeon construction, and epic fights. What more could you ask for. This newest installment in the Crafters Dungeon series took everything I loved from the previous books and used them to their fullest extent. I enjoyed every minute of this book.

Dull but I'll give the series one more book

This story is so dull in places. No good payoff for how the dungeons are communicating, and the insanity she is dealing with seems forced.

Need more

Kind of left it at a cliffhanger, reminds me of when Cal went crazy in Dungeon Madness. Hopefully the cliffhanger is resolved a little sooner. I'd hate to see a crazy Sandra. I really enjoyed it. Highly recommend for the continuation.

Kelerum? I thought his power was fire and dark?

I remember his saying he lit his forge everyday but here I mentions water instead... this is a problem. It’s mentioned twice. I needs to be fixed. But great book as always. I’m really worried though. The crafting parts are my favorites and the raving towards the end is saddening and hopefully doesn’t continue for long in the new book.

Strong escalation in this latest instalment

This continues to be an enjoyable series with the author managing to give it a fairly unique feel in this sub-genre and at the same time showing a strong focus on progression that is needed as a series heads onwards to it's conclusion, which is particularly dramatic at points in this instalment. Despite the obvious limitations that the main character has to deal with as a dungeon core, the author ensures that they are an interesting and sympathetic character that continues to engage the listener. The performance of the narrator again serves to enhance the enjoyment of the listener of this book, particularly with the main character. Overall, no point starting on this book if you are new to the series, but for those who have enjoyed the previous ones, this is a must-read. Brilliant Sequel for this series

The Crafter's Darkness is another amazing piece by Jonathan Brooks and masterfully narrated by Louise Cooksey. It keeps you wanting more for this series with all the really well developed MC and supporting characters. I really can't wait for what comes next.

looking forward to seeing where this is going.

I really like this series it is different from all the other litrpg focused around a dungeon and there is a nice progression of stakes in all the books. this is a solid entry in the series and if you like the previous books you will like this one
