Publisher's Summary

Get ready for the exciting conclusion to the Dungeon World series!

With the help of an unlikely ally, Fred has secretly obtained access to all seven elements for his Core without the Supreme Council of Dungeon Cores’ knowledge; Fire, Water, Nature, Earth, Dark, Light, and Air are now technically at his disposal. However, despite having access to them all, he finds himself behind enemy lines without the use of any but Light and Air due to his temporary Core he had created back in his dungeon.

Now, with the assistance of Roady, Ravenne, and Agelstein - three members of the Allroads Government, and Fred’s “bodyguards” - he has to safely make it back to the city before the inevitable deadly response from the local Dungeon Cores at his theft of the Light element kills him.

Trouble is brewing behind the scenes, though, and the Supreme Council is ready to step up their attacks on Fred’s dungeon underneath the city of Allroads. With additional complications preventing Fred from fully utilizing his newly acquired elements, he has to scramble to find a way to not be useless and assist in the defense of his dungeon, his Shards, and all the people in the city above relying on him.

Oh, and on top of that, Fred still needs to figure out a way to save the world....

Contains LitRPG/GameLit elements such as statistics and leveling. No harems and no profanity.

Great conclusion to the series!

Wonderful story and narration! Fred and gang are back and the poop is about to hit the fan! Surrounded by angry dungeons eager to eradicate them, will Fred, the Power Guild, and the people of All roads be able to overcome the coming attacks? Miles does a great job of narrating and bringing the story to life! I loved this book, and the series as a whole! This is my favorite series that Mr. Brooks has put out so far!

Great Story!

I have really enjoyed reading this series. this is a possible conclusion to the series but does leave an avenue for possible stories in the future. different characters possible but same world. Anyways thanks to the author, and keep them rolling out. You are appreciated.

Epic and satisfying conclusion to a fun series

I have had a lot of fun listening to this series as they came out. I had high expectations for the final book. My expectations were blown way out of the water with this book. I was very happy with how things ended and even more so with the journey to get there.

Great conclusion

Really enjoyed this last one and the series as a whole. Stats were there but not overly involved. Miles Meili narrated well as usual.

Heading Optional Unless You Review

I typically do 4 star reviews unless found the book to be less than enjoyable, and then rate accordingly. I am both happy and sad to have started and finished the last book in this series. I'll admit that at a certain point when things change severally, I almost dropped it, but I'm glad I didn't; things didn't exactly progress as I expected. Very much not a bad thing. I would definitely read a follow-up to this based on the character at the end that I'm sad we don't see more of. Interesting choice from the parents, and seeing how he developed would be fascinating. Admittedly I can plot issues with that (needing to introduce another driving point for the story), though if you partnered with another author to tackle it, that would be awesome. As far as the story it had some appropriately timed sad moments, just when you think things were coming together. The solution to things kinda comes out of nowhere, but it does tie in some of the other world elements well, as well as some history. Overall, very well done. Lovely finale. Audio really well done, another fantastic read.

what an excellent finale

this is truly an excellent finale to the book series dungeon world. if you've already read the other books then you're for sure to buy this one in order to wrap up the entire story in some form that benefits everyone, both humans and dungeon cores alike. in the end you also learn the history of how the world came to be as it is now and the plans that Fred has in order to fix everything to benefit everyone.

Amazing.

I've read hundreds on core/litrpg/gamelit books in the last four year and I have reviewed just as many. I rarely ever have anything negative to say, so I'm assuming my reviews are looked over. But just in case it isn't, please read this one. The conclusion of this series was everything I wanted for Fred and his world. I'm so glad I've enjoyed this series. Please read/listen!

Simply loved it!

This has been a great series to listen too. Thanks to Jonathan for creating this exiting world and captivating story. And thank you Miles for bringing it alive with your great narration! I realy recommend it to anyone who loves dungeon lit but doesn't want it to be too stat heavy. Too bad it had to end... But all great stories do is suppose...

Series concludes strongly

Getting the obvious point out of the way first, as this is the 5th and final book in a series, it is entirely unsuited as a starting point for new listeners, who would be far better off going to book one of this enjoyable series instead. As I couldn't wait for the audiobook to be released I read the kindle edition of this book and having listened to the audiobook version too now, my impressions of it are unchanged. The author does a very good job with this book, bringing the series to a satisfying conclusion that seems like it fits the series as a whole and without feeling like it has been rushed to fit into a planned series length, while also giving the author options for returning to that world if he feels that he has more stories to tell there. As far as the narration of this audiobook, it is another strong performance that helped to increase my overall enjoyment of the book with the range of tones for the characters helping my immersion in the book. Overall, this was a good conclusion to the series and the series itself was highly enjoyable, being well worth the listener's time.
