The High Holy Days, consisting of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, are the most sacred and reflective time for Jewish families. For Leah, 10 years old, these days held deep spiritual meaning. They were a time to reflect on the past year, seek forgiveness, and begin anew.

James was thrilled when his teacher, Mrs. Harper, announced a special celebration for Lincoln’s Birthday. “We’ll have a contest,” she said. “Whoever gives the best Abraham Lincoln presentation will win a surprise prize!”

Carlos couldn’t wait for Cinco de Mayo. His family celebrated every year with music, dancing, and delicious food. This year was extra special because his teacher had asked him to share the story of Cinco de Mayo with the class.
