The Maqasidic Tafsir (At-Tafsir Al-Maqasidi) concentrates on evaluating the higher objective (the Maqsad) of each chapter of the Quran methodologically. It then describes how each chapter's contents reveal the harmony between the higher purpose and the means to achieve it. In tafsir's available trends, the maqasidic method has yet to be treated exclusively and has been subject to only partial and inclusive discussions. We must understand that each verse and chapter of the Quran has a maqsid, which means an aim, purpose, objective, goal, and wisdom.

Originally, mankind was one tribe S2 V213, and from it, all people descend, and all tongues, dialects, and vernaculars. So, there is a common bond, a genetic unity reflected also in words and cultures. Ultimately, this bond also exists in our common faith. The way that Allah communicates with man is through a common matrix of speech, and the way He reveals is through poetry, using metaphors and allegories.

Islam is a socio-political system founded on a religion. Its laws are a set of irrevocable and unchanging religious commands written in the 7th century in a book called the Quran (Koran) by a man named Mohammed (Muhammad). Not all chapters in the Quran are valid because, even though the Quran is not written in chronological order, only the author’s last word on any subject stands. These facts and many more tend to obscure the true meaning and intent of Islam. Who was Mohammed? What did he teach? Was he a prophet or a warlord? Did Mohammed actually marry a six-year-old girl?
