Not too long from today, a new, highly contagious virus makes its way across the globe. Most who get sick experience nothing worse than flu, fever, and headaches. Some of the parchment pages were the color of cream, thick and substantial, made to last many, many lifetimes. The Professor is Charlotte Brontë's first novel albeit the last to have been published.
