I did extensive research for The Faith of the American Founding Fathers. And I was so deeply moved at their genuine, deep felt, Christian faith. When representatives were sent from each colony to form the Continental Congress, including independence from England, and a Constitution, they were all very strong Christian men of God. But I do not want you to just take my word for it. So I decided to compile quotations from some of the most noted Founding Fathers. It would be best to listen to the direct sayings and writings of the American Founding Fathers about their faith.

At first, neither George Washington nor the Continental Congress approved of enlisting African Americans in the new army. Nevertheless, Black men—both slave and free—filled the ranks and served in all of the early battles. Black sailors also saw action in every major naval battle of the Revolution, including members of John Paul Jones's crew aboard the Bonhomme Richard. At least thirteen Black Americans served in the newly formed US Marine Corps during the war.

Between 1765 to 1791, the American Revolution was an ideological and political revolution in British America. In the American Revolutionary War (between 1775 to 1783), the Americans in the 13 groups established sovereign countries that beat the British, getting independence from the British Crown and establishing the United States of America, the first modern-day constitutional liberal democracy.
