I raised my hand and before I had time to think it was already a done deal. For someone who had spent the last ten years away from church, why I had so quickly volunteered to teach a Bible class, even if it was just the Bible as Literature, was beyond me. It was deceit, loving deceit if that's possible; but I could never have imagined when I agreed to teach that class that I had been lured into a trap designed just for me. And the bait?
