Welcome back to Bryce, Colorado, a small town in the Rocky Mountains. Maggie's a divorced mom with two teenage sons. Owen is a retired US Marine who suffers from PTSD. When Maggie's best friend goes missing while on a mountain hike, Owen is called in to join the search and rescue team. Maggie joins too, as she knows the area where her friend disappeared better than anyone.

Widowed rancher Heath Wolfe worries he's making a big mistake by bringing Willow McAllister home to his ranch. A known troublemaker around town, she can't seem to keep a job or avoid skirmishes with the law, so the town marshal implores Heath to help.
