There’s nothing too unusual about a father asking his son for a favor—unless, of course, the father in question has been dead for five years. Thomas, a young virtuoso pianist living a quiet, carefully structured life in France, is stunned when his late father, Raymond, suddenly appears in his home. He’s not a ghost in the traditional sense—he’s real enough to ask for help. His request? That Thomas travel with him to San Francisco to find Camille, the long-lost love of his life.

The brain is out drinking with a few friends, and one of his friends is drunk and ends up leaving the drunk guy with one of the other friends. The drunk guy ends up dying and makes the brain really sad and upset. He meets a young girl in an alley before heading to the bar. The girl has a mysteriously weird brain and also works in a psych clinic that takes care of mental patients.

Mina hat sich verfahren und dann bleibt auch noch ihr Auto stehen. Weil sie keine andere Wahl hat, wagt sie sich ins Dunkel des nahegelegenen Waldes. Plötzlich hört sie eine Frau rufen. Sie winkt Mina zu sich, ins Innere eines seltsamen Gebäudes. Als die Tür hinter ihr zuschlägt, findet sich Mina mit drei Fremden in einem Raum mit einer Glaswand wieder … Bei Einbruch der Nacht schaltet sich das Licht ein und draußen tauchen die Watchers auf.
