this is me reading something i wrote back in november 2001 when i was probably living in oklahoma. now i'm in brazil and sharing this because it feels more important than ever.
it's about how i went from charging less than $20 for readings because i didn't know my own power, to over $190 an hour once i realized what i could actually do. the shift happened when i stopped listening to people who treated this work as just a hobby, studied myself like any other transformational project, and stopped caring what regular people or other spiritualists thought about my methods.
the piece is about finding your real self - not the conditioned version shaped by fear or other people's expectations. my gift is feeling past what people hide in shadows, smelling fear, and tapping into essence beyond the surface. it takes courage because most aren't ready to be seen that deeply, and there will always be "who does she think she is" people. but i'm here to hold space for those ready to transmute. mystics see uniqueness in others because we see it in ourselves - you can't give what you don't have.
