The 2014-2016 Ebola Outbreak killed over 11,000 people in West Africa. Adam and I were some of the first responders to the endemic countries. We build EOCs, transported lab samples, ran the operations for the Ebola Vaccine Trial in Sierra Leone, and much much more. In this episode, we are excited to share some of our memories from that time.

Nigeria implemented a widely acclaimed Ebola emergency response in 2014 which stopped the outbreak from spreading across the country. Evelyn and Adam discuss this hectic time in the country, their roles during the response, and discuss many parallels between the Ebola and COVID emergency response.

Today we talk about our favorite and least favorite projects we did while working at eHealth Africa.

We worked on the polio eradication program since 2012, supporting project implementations across Africa. On this episode, we talk about the history of the polio program to date, our opinion of the overall response, and some thoughts on the future of polio in Africa.

In this episode, we discuss our first 2 years of running eHealth Africa.  We implemented electronic medical records system projects, electronic data collection projects, and solar installations.
