Celebrate Pride with the Ann Arbor YMCA!

The Ann Arbor YMCA invites members of the LGBTQ+ community, their families, friends and allies to our fifth annual Pride celebration on Friday, August 15th from 6:00–9:00 PM in our downtown gymnasium (400 W Washington Street).

This FREE, family-friendly event will feature:
- Special performances by JahJah Shee (Mx. Trans Michigan), Xanadu Shee, Miss Destiny, Austin and Sweettee Shee
- Dinner and refreshments provided by Fed Up Ministries
- Drag Bingo, makeover station, photo ops, crafts, dancing and more
- We want to make sure we’re ready to celebrate with you! Please register by Friday, August 8th. All are welcome, but registration is strongly encouraged so we can plan accordingly!

This Sunday is the 20th annual AADL LEGO Contest just around the corner here at the Sheraton Hotel at 3200 Boardwalk. Everyone from preschoolers through adults can submit a project as part of the contest to win trophies, medals, and fabulous prizes! You can drop your projects off the morning of the event from 9am to 1pm then come back for the awards ceremony at 6pm. Don't want to compete but want to check out the cool LEGO—come to the Sheraton beginning at 4pm to see all the awesome builds!
