Compositor, cantante y tecladista, Miguel Zavaleta integró en la década del '80 una de las tribus más activas y creativas del rock de la Argentina, junto a músicos como Pipo Cipolatti, Fabiana Cantilo, Hilda Lizarazu, Daniel Melingo y Andrés Calamaro, entre otros. Como solista o al frente de su banda Suéter -cuyo tercer disco fue producido por Charly García- aportó al cancionero del rock nacional hits inolvidables de gran difusión radial, como “Amanece en la ruta”, “Casémonos vía México”, “El anda diciendo” y “Extraño ser”.
