In this episode Erica Star and Jess get into the brutally honest truths of trauma bonds. They talk about the difference between real friendship and trauma bonds disguised as true friendship.

The two bring up stories about when they feel they may have actually been the toxic one in the situation, but also what legitimate friendships look and feel like to them now.

Bottom line: Don't feel guilty for being sucked into a trauma bond and don't villainize the person you had/have a trauma bond with. The lines are extremely blurry.

The goal is always to grow, learn and use your experiences to help you understand yourself and others. Hope you learned something!
