Nous avons rencontré à Beijing le chanteur togolais Yao Modeste Douhadji-Combey, dans les coulisses du rendez-vous culturel Chine-Afrique intitulé « Voix pour l'amitié ». Une soirée organisée par CGTN Français à la veille du Sommet de Beijing du Forum sur la coopération Chine-Afrique 2024. Ce jeune artiste, étudiant en master à l'Université du Sichuan, a composé une chanson spécialement pour la soirée. Lors de l'interview, il parle de sa prestation pour l'évènement, de sa carrière musicale, mais aussi de ce qui l'a encouragé à venir en Chine pour faire ses études.
