About this listen
Anita Cameron is a blind disability justice activist based in Rochester, NY. Over her three-decade career, she has been arrested 140 times, more than any other disability justice activist in the U.S. She is also the focus of an "In This Moment" chapbook. This series profiles Black leaders in Rochester. I was honored to be her essayist for the book. We discuss intersectionality, police brutality, accessibility, and the lack-there-of.
