About this listen

Ok This Week we are beginning to talk about the Women's National Soccer Teams Fight for equal pay. I'm very pro women's sports in general and really excited about this series.

We Start out with an uplifting note talking about the 2019 World cup where the WNT won for the second time in a row right after banding together to sue their employer the US Soccer Federation on the grounds of Equal Pay discrimination based on Gender. The women were demanding equal pay and equal treatment as the men's national team.

Then We jump back in time to the first ever Women's national team and their struggles to earn respect for their achievements and try to stay financially afloat all while juggling training, tournaments, and the part time jobs that they are forced to take because of their low income as athletes.

Also another Shoutout to Emilys Dont Tell Set! "Not Another Teen Mom" just dropped on Dont Tell's Youtube page. It is so funny and very well produced and we would really appreciate it If you could watch it and send it to a few friends. Thank you for Listening!!
