About this listen

Being called by God to do something you feel ill-equipped to do can be somewhat of a frightening place to be. That is where Katie Lassiter, our storyteller from our Montgomery, Alabama community group, found herself when her husband approached her about becoming a foster family.

Katie was adamant she could not do it as she didn’t think she was mentally strong enough. But, as you will see in her story, when God calls you to something, He will equip you with the strength and the resources you need.

What are you being called to today? Katie’s story is going to encourage you to take a step towards that calling even if you feel unprepared because the Lord will indeed empower you.

IN THIS EPISODE YOU WILL LEARN:

- God’s plan is always better than your plan.

- If you feel God is calling you to something, just take one step and let Him lead.

- God’s grace is sufficient for you in your weakness. (2 Cor. 12:9)
