About this listen

You might have seen some videos on the news and social media lately about people being stopped by police refusing to hand over personal details. These people often say the police have no jurisdiction over them because they are Sovereign Citizens.

These people have increased in numbers since the Covid pandemic with anti-government sentiment on the rise, many decided it's time to free themselves from the Australian legal system and declare themselves a separate entity.

In today's episode we look at who sovereign citizens are, what they want and why the FBI has declared them incredibly dangerous.
