Her upcoming novel, Fission: A Novel of Atomic Heartbreak (to be published in January 2026), is inspired by her parents’ stories of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, during the Manhattan Project. The plot follows a love triangle between a young mother and a Soviet spy—based on real revelations of espionage at Oak Ridge.
