God’s original plan was for us to rule over the earth and live in harmony with Him, our Creator and each other. Satan attempted to thwart God’s plan, however, God sent His Son Jesus to die for us and rescue us from sin, death and destruction and restore us to the Father. God is shaking everything that can be shaken to reveal all the idols in our lives. His original purpose and plan still stands. “Declaring the end and the result from the beginning, And from ancient times the things which have not [yet] been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will do all that pleases Me and fulfills My purpose,’” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭46‬:‭10‬ ‭AMP‬‬.

The fear of the LORD is the reverential respect and awe for who He is; the Creator of the universe and all life and that He holds our lives in His hands. If we fear God and obey and live according to His will, He promises to protect, provide and care for us. “Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. God instituted the rainbow covenant with Noah and his descendants in Genesis 9. God promised that He would never destroy the earth by flood again. “This is the covenant that I promise to keep: I will never cause water to destroy all living things on the earth again. Deep water will never again come again to destroy the earth.’ When I see the rainbow in the clouds, I will remember my covenant. It is a promise that I have made with every kind of living thing on the earth.’” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭9‬:‭11‬, ‭16‬ ‭EASY‬‬.

However, God has told us in the very near future, He is going to destroy the earth by fire. “The great day of the Lord will suddenly happen. That will surprise people, like when someone comes to rob them. There will be a very loud noise in the sky. The whole sky will go away. Fire will burn the whole universe and it will destroy everything. The earth and everything that people have done on it will then be in the open.” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ ‭EASY‬‬.

God invites us all to enter into the New Covenant, mediated by His Son Jesus, and have our sins forgiven so that we can save ourselves from this wicked and corrupt generation and the soon coming destruction that is to come upon the earth.
