About this listen
In this episode, I talk about one of the biggest differences between Christianity and Islam: the question of whether Jesus was actually crucified. The Qur’an outright denies it, but without the cross, there is no Christianity. It’s the heartbeat of our faith.
That’s why I want to take you into one of the most fascinating and controversial historical relics we have—the Shroud of Turin. This ancient linen cloth bears the faint image of a crucified man and contains details that align perfectly with the Gospel accounts: the nails in the wrists, the crown of thorns, the scourging, the spear wound, and even the fact that none of His bones were broken. These are details no medieval forger could have known, and together they testify to the reality of Jesus’s crucifixion.
But the shroud isn’t just about history; it’s a reminder that our faith is grounded in real events, real suffering, and real hope. Most of all, it points us back to Jesus: the Son of God who died for our sins, rose again, and is coming back.
