今週から2週にわたってお送りする特集のテーマは、
＜声の魔術師 ～ オペラに魅せられる夜 ～＞
貴族文化から生まれた絢爛たるオペラの舞台。
その華やかさの一方で、
主役となるのは、生身の人間が発する「声」です。
今回、ソプラノ歌手・田中彩子さんに、
オペラの多様で表現力豊かな「声」の魅力についてお話を伺いながら、
その歌声を起点に、オペラの本質を紐解いていきます。
田中さんは、18歳で単身ウィーンに留学。
22歳のとき、スイス・ベルン州立歌劇場にて、
同劇場日本人初、かつ、最年少でソリストデビューを果たしました。
その後はウィーンをはじめ、ロンドン、パリ、ブエノス・アイレスなど、世界各地で活躍。
ソプラノの中でも「天使の声」と称される、
高音域の透き通るような“コロラトゥーラ” を自在に操る、数少ない歌手です。
第１回目。
田中さんのソプラノ歌手としてのルーツについてのお話や、
田中さんが勧める名作オペラ作品について、
そして、オペラ初心者に向けて鑑賞を楽しむためのポイントについてお話を伺いました。
