• Voices: Emma Kathryn Season 2 Episode 15
    Aug 14 2025

Emma Kathryn is a witch and Obeah woman from Nottinghamshire. She has been involved with magick and witchcraft for over twenty years and runs an Obeah mentorship programme, passing on her knowledge of this mystery shrouded practice in the hope of keeping the tradition alive.

She is particularly passionate about sharing her knowledge with those who might have links to or an interest with the craft but have struggled to overcome the many obstacles that stand in their way, and this is a thread that weaves through much of her work, including her writing. She is an author of several books, including Reclaiming Ourselves and Reclaiming Food (Ritona), titles that seek to empower people to begin on the journey of rediscovering their own power and self agency.

In Witch Life (Llewellyn Worldwide), Emma brings attention to the power of getting practical with witchcraft in a way that allows people to choose and adapt workings that suit their own lifestyles, and she often describes it as a witches boot up the bottom to get motivated. In her latest book, Season Songs: Rediscovering Magic in the Cycles of Nature (Llewellyn Worldwide) Emma aims to inspire an animistic revolution as a way to inspire and breath fresh life into our own lived and magickal experiences.

  • Voices: Dr Lenni George Season 2 Episode 14 - The Rites of Hekate
    Jul 27 2025
. THE RITES OF HEKATE: From the Dirt to the Divine "Ought I to say something on this subject also? And shall I write about things not to be spoken of and divulge what ought not to be divulged? Shall I utter the unutterable?" Julian, Oration V: Hymn to the Mother of the Gods Dr Lenni Maria George invites you to walk the path with Hekate, the goddess of magic, boundaries, and transformation. Drawing from decades of solitary practice and experience, this book offers an exploration of working with one of history's most misunderstood deities. From her own beginning early encounters with Hekate in a transpersonal laboratory to the threads that weave through millennia of worship, Dr George presents a "dirt to divine" model for Hekatean practice. This system grounds work in the earth itself whilst reaching towards consciousness, bridging the gap between green magic and ceremonial practice. This book reveals the nature of Hekate beyond distortions, tracing her from Anatolia through the Chaldean Oracles. You will find guidance for creating moon and dark moon gardens, necromantic practices and liminal space work, alongside a new framework for ritual and devotion. This is not a book for those seeking answers or rewards. Hekate strips away certainties and demands transformation. For practitioners ready to walk with the torchbearer between worlds, The Rites of Hekate offers both wisdom and warning from one who has walked this path for decades. The book serves solitary practitioners drawn to the Dark Feminine, students of mystery traditions, those called to work with liminal deities, and practitioners seeking depth over approaches. Dr Lenni Maria George brings decades of experience in transpersonal psychology, herbalism, and solitary practice to her work with Hekatean traditions. Her approach combines research with mystical experience, offering guidance for practitioners of the ways. May 2 2025
Sef Salem Biography Sef Salem is an occultist and sorcerer with over twenty years’ experience of personal and group magical practice. Initially trained as a Gnostic Mystic, he joined Ordo Templi Orientis in 2010 and founded the international group Gentlemen 4 Jupiter shortly afterwards, before taking on and running the Occult Conference in Glastonbury between 2014 and 2018. Since 2019 he has run Star Club, a modern magical order co-founded with Dr. Halo Quin, teaching a variety of esoteric practices within a Western Mystery Tradition framework. Sef continues to work for the occult and esoteric community by running The Visible College, a non-profit based in South Gloucestershire which hosts events at a beautiful rural location, and facilitates events across Britain such as the International Thelemic Symposium in Oxford. He lives near Bristol with his fiancée and Priestess, and travels nationally to offer lectures and workshops to groups large and small. Group Ritual Practice Abstract Developed during 2014-18 as Sef was running the Glastonbury Occult Conference, Star Club is an anarcho-syndicalist approach to group ritual practice which involves a Framework within which rituals are performed to ensure maximum efficacy and repeatable results. Drawing on chaos magick, Thelema, Qabala, and other strands of practice, the system weaves together technology at the heart of esoteric practice to create magicians in its annual Practitioner Cycles, and tests those skills during the modern Order's Initiations. Group ritual has been Sef's primary area of focus and practice over the course of his occult career and the architecture, skills, and performance of ritual is one of his greatest joys.
