Tina shares how she lost her identity twice. Leading up to the COVID pandemic, she was forced to cancel a major charity event while dealing with health challenges and her father’s declining health, and altogether leaving her overwhelmed and feeling that she lost her identity emotionally. In 2024, she sought respite in Europe but instead was robbed twice in Italy, losing her identification, money, and credit cards—leaving her robbed of her identity physically as well. Facing fear and uncertainty, Tina turned to faith, courage, and prayer, ultimately transforming her experiences into her book. Her experiences may be wild, but they reflect the struggles that people—especially women—face with trauma and loss of self. Tina encourages us to listen to our hearts, rediscover our inner child, and choose how we respond to life’s challenges.
