The Express Storage Architecture is a rewrite of vSAN meant to take advantage of the NVMe storage and the migration of storage from the SAS bus to PCI. We discuss the differences between Original Storage Architecture and Express Storage Architecture along with the benefits that it brings and the new requirements it needs.
