  • Sea Change artists Raqs Media Collective talk with Caroline Edwards on utopia and dystopia in connection to their wider ideas and commission ‘The Waves are Rising.’ The moving image work merges live footage of Royal Dock’s still waters superimposed with animated representations of stimulated waves and maritime detritus. The artists will discuss the sea and Dockland’s history as a complex site of exploration and exploitation drawing together themes of global trade, extreme weather and climate change.
