 In einem kleinen Dorf in den Pyrenäen, tief in Katalonien, lebte einst eine alte Frau namens Mariona. Sie war eine einsame Seele, bekannt für ihre sonderbaren Rituale. Doch eines Tages brachte sie ein besonderes Geschenk für die Kinder des Dorfes mit: einen großen, ausgehöhlten Holzklotz, den sie mit einem Gesicht bemalt hatte.
