In this live presentation at the Charles and Mary Ann Goodnight Ranch State Historic Site, Brett Cruse shares highlights from his award-winning research and authorship Battles of the Red River War: Archeological Perspectives on the Indian Campaign of 1874 (Texas A&M University Press).

150 years ago, the Red River War altered lives and cultures forever. The buffalo-hunting Native American tribes battled the post-Civil War U.S. Military for control of the Southern Great Plains. Undertold Stories of the Red River War explores the lesser known, often forgotten events and characters around each skirmish of the Red River War. Limited series podcast.
