About this listen

In today's episode, we touch upon something that we tend to forget: our truth(s) is(are) not always loud.

We often hear that "I found my truth", but I think truth is not something to be found, but rather something that we create.

Over the years, I know I am not the only one who has learned (and was taught) to "de-trust" myself. What I mean by that is that all the gadgets we are using, the ones telling us how much we slept last night, how much we should or should not eat, ... all these gadgets have brought us further away from our intuition, from our truths. We use an external referential, rather than our own notion or sense of self.

Our truth is often subtle; it is like someone whispering to us: "hey should we do this? Hey, should we get back to doing this?". Truth is calm, it is confident, it is waiting for us with open arms. It is a subtle nudge to get us back on track. It can be goosebumps when listening to reading your favorite author, it can be found in a sigh of relief. Yes, truth often feels like relief, it feels like letting go.

On the other side of the spectrum, we have (what I like to call) the "noise" (whether internal or external) that is tinted with ego, with fear, with conditioning.

Knowing from which place we act can be so beneficial for our overall well-being. It can allow us to decide our next steps.

As always, to do so, we need... (drum roll please) awareness and patience! (The ULTIMATE combo)

I hope this episode resonates with you in one way or another.
