 Der junge Mark Feld hatte zwei Ziele für sein Leben: Er wollte berühmt werden und er wollte einen Rolls-Royce fahren. Beides hat er erreicht. Er nannte sich Marc Bolan, wurde Anfang der 1970er Jahre mit seiner Band T. Rex zum erfolgreichsten Popmusiker Englands, begründete nebenbei den Glam-Rock und leistete sich schließlich auch den ersehnten Rolls Royce. "Wenn ich bei einem Autounfall sterbe, dann wird es aber nicht in einem Rolls Royce, sondern in einem Mini sein" scherzte er einmal. Und genau so kam es dann auch.
