The only way we can change our circumstances is, if we change our attitude, outlook and perspective of it.

This means we have to change the record playing in our mind.

This simple prayer formula is very successful.

"Up until this morning, i believed i was 'XYZ' ,but listening to this perfect stranger Richard, the idea that i might be my own worst enemy, both shocks me and gives me reason to hope and so i declare, from this moment forward, I chose to be happy, joyous, free and full of hope."

and tomorrow repeat the prayer with

"Up until yesterday morning...…"

and so on, each day, see this old state drifting away on the tides of time.

Repeat this new belief 10, 20, 30 times a day for 30 days, and by day 10, you wont know yourself.

We are the survivor; in the future of our inner child, who was the victim.

As they look down the tunnel fearing more doom and gloom, we stand there, with a blazing Torch of Hope above our heads, waving it gleefully for them to see that their future is bright.

We cant be both Victim and Survivor. We don't even get to choose.
