    Murchison Falls National Park, located in northwest Uganda, this park is one of the favorite national parks in the country. It is famous for boat rides and safaris and also has a real variety of gorgeous landscapes. It is named after the magnificent Murchison Falls, where the Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge, creating a spectacular waterfall. There's the powerful Murchison Falls along the Victoria Nile and the wetlands where the Nile empties into Lake Albert. Leopards and giraffes are found in this park.

If you love trekking and hiking, then this national park is for you. As you climb, you encounter striking vegetation like giant groundsels which grow only in a few alpine locations in equatorial East Africa. Beautiful tree heather (erica arborea) is also found here.

    Kibale National Park is an incredibly beautiful park in western Uganda. This park is home to very moist evergreen rainforest. It is chockfull of wildlife, including over 300 species of colorful birds. It is one of the best places in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. If you love chimpanzees, you can give this park a try.
