Wei Wuxian thinks he might actually have a lasting truce with Lan Qiren, he's getting along well with the teacher that Lan Qiren wishes him to replace, Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi are even helping him get his sleeping schedule in order!
He didn't ask for their help, but that's beside the point.
Wei Wuxian is preparing to officially start teaching in the Cloud Recesses. It all seems to be going well, there is no looming disaster on the horizon, nothing that needs his attention besides getting ready to be the best instructor for his students that he can.
Everything is good. It's all...it's all so good. And it's going to stay that way this time.
