About this listen

Katie talks with Tieghan Gerard, creator of Half Baked Harvest and bestselling cookbook author, about digital branding, building a community, and advice for content creators .

Tieghan did not intend to work in the food space. After originally heading to LA to study fashion, Tieghan felt it wasn’t right and returned back home to Colorado. Her mom then suggested she start a food blog, and together they launched the website when Tieghan was just 19 years old (they’re still business partners today!).

With a love of design, fashion, and making things look pretty, Tieghan quickly began finding her style when photographing her recipes online. Her drive and determination has led her to develop one of the most recognizable food brands online. Tieghan shares how difficult it is to work in the online space and also gives her tips for creators trying to build a brand today.

Join Tieghan and Katie for an episode that will both inspire you and make your hungry at the same time.
