About this listen

This podcast features interviews with researchers working on topics related to the ocean, the study of the ocean, and the various ways marine environments are important to different forms of life. These researchers were part of an interdisciplinary workshop held in Exeter in April 2023, and the podcast is designed to give a deeper insight into the work of some of these workshop participants. Each episode focuses on the research of a specific person, as well as their relationship with the sea. The interviews are conducted by Sonia Levy (an independent artist with an interest in oceanic worlds) and Elis Jones (a PhD student at the University of Exeter working at the intersection of philosophy, sociology and coral reef science). It was produced with funding from the Economic and Social Research Council via the South West Doctoral Training Partnership.Copyright 2023 All rights reserved. Philosophy Science Social Sciences
