  • How We Know What We Do About Nutrition and Exercise | Episode 1

    In episode 1 of this podcast, it felt fitting to me to discuss how research is conducted on the topics I will be covering on this show. We cover Cohort studies, Case-control studies, Human Randomized Controlled Trials, Rodent Studies, and Meta Analyses. We discuss the strengths and limitations of each and give specific examples and how we can take information from these studies.

    I also talk about how you all in my audience can determine if a claim is valid and reliable. There is a lot of misinformation in the fitness industry and I want you all to be able to understand if an influencer or a product is trying to mislead of scare you into purchasing their products.
