In this episode I chat to Peter Black better know as Blackie from the Hard-Ons who are celebrating 40 years of rock'n'roll this year with a new album, "I like You A Lot Getting Older" and a tour (not that they have been quiet of late). It was a great chat and we discuss (among other things):
- The legacy of the Hards-Ons as a band name
- Why the Hard-Ons have endured
- What Tim Rogers has bought to the band
- On being excited to play new material along with the "oldies"
- How he obtained his Gibson SG
- The "Punk Police"
- Growing older and growing as a musician
And thanks to the Hard-Ons for allowing me to include "In Falls Everything" (from Ripper 23) and "Buzz, Buzz, Buzz" (first release from the new album "I Like You a Lot Growing Older") in the podcast. Go see the Hards-On later in the year and buy the new album (https://cheersquadrecordstapes.bandcamp.com/)
