SWIMMING POOL (2001), the rarely-seen slasher that dared to ask, “What if we trapped a bunch of rich, horny European teens in an Olympic-sized swimming pool and let a masked psycho go to town?” Oh, and did we mention a baby-faced James McAvoy is here to steal scenes (and maybe your heart)? Graduation should be a time for celebration, but for this group of private school brats, it’s more of a bloodbath. Someone in a weird mask has a serious grudge, and they’re taking their rage out with a variety of sharp objects. The body count rises, the plot makes… choices, and we question the decision to let this much chlorine mix with this much bad behavior.
