• Assessing Eagles Training Camp (PST Episode 630)
    Aug 21 2025
How should we be assessing the Philadelphia Eagles during Training Camp and this preseason? There are a ton of storylines to follow both on offense and defense. This week, our friend of the pod, Tommy, better known as Dose on Twitter/X joined the show for some in-depth analysis about where this Eagles team is at in terms of depth on offense, with the secondary, and much more. It was a great discussion as the Eagles regular season will be here before we know it!
But first, the guys dove into some Phillies talk with Zack Wheeler going on the IR, Aaron Nola having a rough first start since May, and whether Alec Bohm can give this team some more offensive spark. (Approx. 6:20)
From there, they discussed new system changes that are being implemented with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in the Flyers farm system, and how this may play a huge role in the development of young players. (Approx. 21:05)
The guys then talked about the Eagles secondary, and how the No. 2 CB situation is playing out. (Approx. 28:55)
What they threw down on the Table this week was a great, in-depth conversation with friend of the pod, Dose from Twitter/X, assessing the Eagles during this preseason and Training Camp. Who will win the Eagles No. 2 CB battle? Weakest link on the defense? What WR John Metchie will give the offense? A look at the tight end depth as well as the running back depth. All of this and much more this week on the Table! (Approx. 38:40)
