The new Academic Year approaches in College Athletics, and one of the key sticking points for the House Settlement going through was how Rosters will look for different sports going forward. There is an entire new set of rules for how many spots are available, how you can replace them, and what you can do for athletes that had roster spots before the change. We are racing toward July 1. The 2024-25 collegiate sports season has officially ended with the conclusion of the College World Series. We recap the Tigers winning in a game that had a wild first inning. Then it is time to dive into a story that broke late last Friday, a school suing another school over losing a football player. I will point out that this is a matter for NCAA enforcement and not the courts (for once), and what this could mean going forward. As mentioned in the show, here is the link to Xavier Lucas' lawyer's interview with Finebaum.
