About this listen
This week the SimCast team are joined by Kate Denning and Kevin Mackie who are talking about changes to the Generic Instructor Course (GIC), an internationally renowned programme for developing instructors for life support training across a wide range of sub-specialisms.
In the episode the panel discuss some of the main changes made to the GIC, as well as things that needed to stay and some of the challenges faced along the way. They look at the underpinning educational principles, a shift towards learner centric facilitation and how the model needs to be replicated at scale whilst still retaining high quality at all times.
If you're a life support provider or instructor you won't want to miss this episode!
